Taking something on for Lent

Lent for life

Everyone talks about giving something up for Lent. I’m taking something on.

I think that’s a much better approach. It’s so positive. It’s forward-looking.

What am I taking on? Health. I have lost half a stone in less than a week. Mostly by avoiding chocolate and other lovely foods. We will see how it goes.

Why am I blogging about this? Partly to see whether anyone reads Held in Common. If they do, news of my health drive will soon go around!

I, too, like to take things on: this year, it's organisation and tidiness. It's not going especially well so far!

That's even harder than chocolate!
